Long ago, great cities were built by warriors who discovered and manipulated Aura, the vital energy that every living being possesses. Each city was named after these warriors: Hifei, Grom, Dish, Targfor, Oju, Leimor, and Ashur.
But since there would be those who would use Aura for evil, a group of warriors emerged to protect innocent people, and thus the Seven Legendaries were born.
Each of the Seven Legendaries built the Orbs of Power, spheres of great energy used to energize cities, or even empower other users.
For generations, the cities prospered with the help of the Seven Legendaries, but all that changed in the sixth generation, when Captain Yamato appeared.
Yamato was a former soldier from Hifei, but for unknown reasons, he was banished to Ashur, learning to live in darkness and discovering powers he never imagined.
The Seven Legendaries, being of the sixth generation, fought against Yamato, but their enemy was too powerful and, by obtaining the Orbs, he would be invincible. Having no alternative, the Seven sacrificed themselves with a sealing technique, and Yamato was sealed and turned to stone, imprisoned in the mountains of Ashur.
The story of the seventh generation of the Seven Legendaries begins fifty years after this battle.
